1. Reset any router or wifi access point/router by removing power for 5 second or more then reapplying power.
2. The equipment we installed is powered by a small rectangular power device that inserts a voltage over the ethernet cable. This is known as Power over ethernet or POE. This device is connected by a black cable that penetrates the wall. A second cable connects the device to the subscribers premises' 110 volt power
receptacle. This device has a third cable that either connects directly to the subscribers equipment. To reset remove power to this device for 5 seconds or more and then reapply power.
3. Sometimes a subscribers workstation stops communicating with the network. This requires shutting down the subscribers workstation and powering it off for 5 seconds or more then reapplying power.
If the subscribers service is still not
restored then a call to us is recommended and we will
help get your service restored as quickly as possible.
